Ben Mee has insisted that we need to translate our good home form when we play away from the Gtech Community Stadium after our 1-1 draw with Wolves on Saturday.

The Bees have lost just one home game this campaign and, with two important matches at Nottingham Forest and Manchester City before the winter break, Mee has said it's vital we improve our results on the road.

“We know we’ve been strong here at home. We had a very good result against Chelsea here, we beat Brighton here, we’re very confident coming here," he told Graham Thomas from The Sunday Mirror.

“It’s our away form that we need to get right. We were on the end of a difficult defeat last weekend, we were playing Aston Villa at a time when they’d just gotten rid of the manager, the fans were up and we needed to deal with that a bit better.

“But, coming here, we're confident and it's another point on the board, that keeps us ticking over. Obviously we want to win games but we’ll take the point.”

He added: “We've got a tough away game at Forest. It's a place where we can go and try and get our form right. It'll be bouncing there, they get right behind their team so it's going to be a difficult place to go.

“We've then got one at Man City which is obviously a difficult place to go at the best of times. It’s two difficult away games but we’ll look to get points from them and try and get that away form right.”

Mee scored a sensational scissor kick to open the scoring of our 1-1 draw at the Gtech and admitted that he would definitely watch it back when he got home.

"It was a nice goal, yeah! I’ll watch that on Match of the Day tonight, I'm sure. I don't get many like that so I will enjoy it," he laughed.

"I don’t score many but I'll try to get in the box more often.”
