Brentford have been drawn against Southend United in the First Round of the Carabao Cup. The Bees will travel to Roots Hall on the week beginning 13 August to play the tie.
The draw was hosted in Vietnam at 10:45am BST, and overseen by football stars Dennis Wise, Steve McManaman and Louis Saha.
The Bees were ball four and became one of the first teams pulled out in the South section of the First Round draw. They were drawn against Southend away from home with the exact date of the encounter to be confirmed in due course.
The last time the two sides met was in the FA Cup in January 2013, with Brentford needing a replay to overcome The Shrimpers 2-1 on their way to playing Chelsea in the Fourth Round.
Now The Bees have one of their 18/19 fixtures confirmed, key your eyes on the Club as we reveal our full 46-game Championship schedule on Thursday 21 June.
