We are pleased to confirm the signing of 17-year-old Beaux Booth from Dorking Wanderers. The midfield player joins on a two-year scholarship and will initially be part of Neil MacFarlane’s B Team.

The deal will also see an automatic six-month professional contract come into effect upon the completion of the scholarship term.

Beaux initially spent time within the youth systems at Tottenham Hotspur and Brighton & Hove Albion before he joined Arsenal at Under-15 level. After departing the Gunners, he spent a short period with Walton Casuals as he went on to feature for them in the Surrey Senior Cup. A spell in Under-18 football with East Peckham then followed before he joined Dorking earlier this year.

The midfielder has featured for Dorking’s B Team this season in the Southern Combination Football League. As a 16-year-old he turned out against Shoreham away from home before he helped his side to a 2-0 win away at Hailsham Town where he featured for 74 minutes in late October.

Discussing Beaux’s arrival, Brentford B Head Coach Neil MacFarlane said: “Beaux came in for a trial period and he has shown that he’s technically very gifted. We feel he has a good base to work with and we will look to add all the other elements to his game and get him used to our fixture programme and to our intensity.

“He’s a central midfielder who can handle the ball and he has done really well since he’s been in with us. He’s an exciting prospect and we look forward to watching his development in the coming years.”

As a Club we would like to thank Dorking Wanderers FC for their assistance with this transfer in what has been an efficient and professional process.
