The Irishman will play his first competitive game since being carried off at Bolton Wanderers on October 25 last year.

Brentford were victorious in their last league match against Crystal Palace last Tuesday at The Bees Training Ground, winning 3-0.

The Bees are away to Cardiff City this evening, kick-off 7pm.

Development Squad Manager Lee Carsley will name his team later today.
