A young Brentford team will head to National League South side Slough Town on Friday evening in a pre-season fixture with kick-off at 7.45pm at Arbour Park.

A side comprising of under-18 and B-team players will make the journey to Berkshire for the match as they ready themselves for the 2023/24 campaign.

Our U18s team got their first minutes in pre-season last Saturday as they faced Portsmouth away from home whilst our B team will also be in action this Saturday as Neil MacFarlane’s group face Bristol Rovers at Imber Court.

Brentford will come up against a Slough side who finished 18th in the league last season. They began their pre-season campaign with a 4-3 defeat to Burnham before a 0-0 draw with Ascot United. They beat Beaconsfield Town 2-0 on 8 July and face Wingate and Finchley on Tuesday evening.
