Aaron Hickey played 89 minutes for Scotland in their 0-0 draw against Ukraine on Tuesday, which saw them promoted to League A of the Nations League.

The Bees right-back featured in all three of his nation’s games over the international break, helping them to the top of League B Group 1.

Aaron, who won his seventh cap for Steve Clarke’s side, was our first Scotland international since 1947.

Bryan Mbeumo was in South Korea as Cameroon lost to a Son Heung-min goal at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on Tuesday. The Brentford forward played 90 minutes.

Frank Onyeka played 85 minutes for Nigeria as they were defeated 2-1 by Algeria in a friendly.

Fin Stevens, who is currently on loan at Swansea, started for Wales under-21 as they lost 2-0 away to Austria under-21 in Vienna.

Both Mads Bidstrup and Yegor Yarmolyuk were involved in 2023 Under-21 European Championships play-off second legs on Tuesday.

Mads came on in the 66th minute for Denmark under-21 as they won 2-1 against Croatia under-21, which levelled things up on aggregate after 90 minutes. However, they went on to lose 5-4 on penalties.

Yegor Yarmolyuk was an unused substitute as Ukraine won 3-0 thanks to a Danylo Sikan hattrick which saw them qualify for next summer’s tournament.
