“For me the wins are close because we are still dominating matches,” Bryan told brentfordfc.com. “The confidence has been coming back bit-by-bit and I think it is going to come back very quickly now. We just need to stick together and keep working hard to get those wins.”

Saturday’s game saw Thomas Frank’s side open up a 2-0 lead early on, thanks to Luka Racic’s first Brentford goal and a fine free-kick from Bryan, only to be pegged back before the interval. For Bryan, the point was still a good one, even if it could have been three.

“We started the match really well,” said Bryan. “It got a little bit more difficult after that. Now we have to regroup and do everything we can to win our next match. A draw at the end of a physically difficult three game week is not the worst result even though it could have been better. We have to maintain a positive outlook at this point.”

The goal was Bryan’s 13th of a very profitable debut season in West London. The French Under-21 international sits only behind Ollie Watkins in our scoring charts, and also has six assists to his name in 34 appearances.

“It’s been a few matches since I scored so it makes me happy to get that goal,” admitted Bryan. “We are in a spell where there are lots of matches in quick succession and it has been difficult to get used to that, even though I’m doing everything to recover after games. Everyone is working hard, it is now about seeing what we have left in reserve.”
