After netting twice against Reading Under-23s at Griffin Park on Wednesday evening, heās taken his tally to eight goals in his last 16 matches and wants to keep building in the coming weeks under Neil MacFarlane.
After the win, he explained: āIām pleased with the team; I think we played well. Itās always good to win and get some goals as well, so overall, Iām pleased with the performance.
āI want more, always, and Iām working hard so hopefully things will keep getting better.ā
On his goals, Jaden was delighted to find the net once again, with the first a special strike as he gave The Bees the lead just before half-time.
āIt went into the top corner and Iām glad it went in,ā said Jaden. āBut it was a good ball from Japhet (Sery Larsen) and Iām glad we won today.
āWeāve been working on it (the high press) in training so itās good to see when it pays off. The boys work hard, and I think our fitness showed for the whole 90 minutes and thatās what made the win.ā
Brentford B will now focus on a Middlesex Senior Cup match with Hanwell Town this Saturday at 3pm, and Jaden believes that sort of test will be an opportunity to improve for the players. He continued: āThey will be big and physical, but we have to dig deep and try to get the win like we did last time. It will be good for the boys as we try to make a transition into the first team, so I think it will be a good game.ā
